After Jolion HEV, GWM Will Rakit Haval H6 In Indonesia Next Year

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) officially sold Haval H6 in the Indonesian market in early March. However, this model is an imported product or CBU and has not been assembled locally.

General Manager of GWM Indonesia Constantinus Herlijoso, said that there are several factors why the model has not been assembled locally and decided that the Jolion HEV will be the first product produced in Indonesia.

"At that time we included the H6 in CBU first while preparing production facilities. However, there are a number of technical considerations why we decided for the local Jolion raft first," said the man who is familiarly called Joso to the media in Sudirman, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10.

However, he hopes that the SUV will soon be assembled locally (CKD) next year if a number of factors support this planning.

"Our hope is that next year we will assemble Haval H6 in Indonesia if everything goes well," he added.

GWM Haval H6 has a relieved dimension with a length of 4,683 mm, a width of 1,886 mm, a height of 1,730, and a wheelbase of 2,738 mm. Thus, the SUV has a seat capacity of five seats.

Carrying premium comfort, this SUV is equipped with a MacPherson Strut with stabilizer bar suspension on the front and a Multi-link independent suspension with stabilizer bar at the back assisted by the Rack & Pinion Electric Power Assist system.

Then, the car uses 225/55 R19 tires with an alloy rim that protects the ventilated disc brake device on both sides.

The interior is decorated with a 10.25-inch digital instrument screen and a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and is decorated with ambient lighting and is equipped with a rooftop to increase comfort.

The manufacturer from China also added safety elements with six airbags, 360 camera, parking assist system, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane change assist, and Wisdom Dodge System.

Talking about its performance, Haval H6 is equipped with a 1.5T HEV engine married to the Dual Hybrid Transmission (DHT) system as well as an electric motor that produces a combined force of 240 dk and a torque of 530 Nm.

Equipped with a hybrid system, this Haval H6 HEV has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.69 kWh which plays a role in fuel efficiency and is environmentally friendly.

Produced by CBU, GWM Haval H6 is priced at IDR 595.8 million On The Road DKI Jakarta. The manufacturer also guarantees 7 years or 200,000 km and 8 years or 200,000 km for hybrid battery guarantees.
