JAKARTA - Jejelogy GHP Law Firm, the Indonesian local rally racing team officially announced its participation in the 2024 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) in Thailand with local racer Julian Johan (Jeje).

Tim asal Indonesia ini juga memperkenalkan kendaraannya Toyota Land Cruiser yang mengambil basis dari Lexus LX570 seperti tahun lalu dengan sejumlah perubahan.

"This year we come with a new spirit and there are interesting things that are different," said Jeje in an introduction to the media in Pondok Indah, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 10.

Despite using the same car, Jeje mentioned that there were several changes that were presented to this car which were expected to provide the best results compared to last year's edition.

"Of course we set realistic targets, but hope to reach the top 10 in general," Jeje hoped.

Jeje explained that his car came with a number of improvements, one of which was an increase in engine capacity from 5,800 cc to 6,100 cc.

"The engine itself is built-in LX570, the V8 configuration is by increasing the capacity to 6,100 cc and energy output," added Jeje.

The local racer hopes that with the improvement of the engine, it can increase engine depletion during the 2024 AXCR performance.

"The most important thing in this part is resilience because this rally will last long-run and hopefully this can last a long time," said Jeje.

The off-road Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) car racing event will be held again in 2024, namely on August 11-17 from Thailand to Malaysia.

For this year's edition, Jeje will be accompanied by two co-drivers, Recky Resanto from Indonesia and Chupong Chaiwan from Thailand.
