Wuling Bakti For Machine Donation Education A Total Of 365 Units To Vocational Schools And Universities

JAKARTA - In celebration of the 7th anniversary in Indonesia, Wuling Bakti Pendidikan continues and now contributes 365 units of machinery.

This time, the provision of machines from Wuling is intended for Vocational High Schools (SMK) and Universities located in the Cikarang area and East Java Province. This program is a tangible manifestation of Wuling's contribution in supporting the world of education, especially for students who are exploring the automotive sector and as a means of technology experts as well as links and matches with current industrial needs.

"This program has collaborated with various Vocational High Schools (SMK) and Universities, focusing on improving education in the automotive sector. In commemoration of 7 years of Wuling, we donated machinery to strengthen the ability of vocational education on the island of Java," said Vice President Wuling Motors Arif Pramadana in his official statement, Tuesday, July 9.

Regarding the 'Wuling Bakti Pendidikan' program this time, Wuling donated a total of 365 units of machine and learning modules as well as manual services as guidance to students which were divided into two handover ceremonies. The first handover event was located at the Wuling Cikarang factory on Tuesday (2/7) with 197 units of machinery intended for 50 SMK in Cikarang and its surroundings as well as 7 universities on the island of Java.

"We aim to improve students' practical learning experience, facilitate knowledge transfer from industry, support the development of skilled workers, and strengthen the capacity of educational institutions in providing quality technical training," he added.

On this occasion, Abdul Rokib, M.Pd, Principal of SMK Ananda Mitra Industri Deltamas thanked Wuling for their valuable support and cooperation.

"Hopefully this collaboration will continue and be stronger, as well as allowing technology transfers to educational institutions. Vocational schools and institutions that have worked together must be more proactive in finding Wuling to exchange materials and establish closer cooperation," he said.

Then it continued with the second handover activity at the Bromo Park Hotel, Probolinggo on Friday with a total of 168 units of machines aimed at 117 SMK and 1 university in East Java province. In this ceremony, the Director of SMK Kemendikbudristek RI, Dr. Drs. Wardani Sugiyanto, M.Pd. also expressed his appreciation to Wuling.

"Let's welcome this assistance with great enthusiasm and optimize the implementation of practices in our unit. This is an extraordinary momentum where the industry is increasingly loving and partnering with SMK. We hope that this collaboration can continue in providing the best teaching," he explained in the welcoming session.

The each machine unit that Wuling provides to SMK and Universitas is a guide for practical facilities for students to improve skills in dismantling or reinstalling machine components.

Previously, Wuling also ran the 'Wuling Bakti Pendidikan' program in Central Java and DIY at the end of June 2024. On that occasion, Wuling provided ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) engine assistance, 120 engine units for 98 SMK and 2 Universities in Central Java province and 120 units of engines to 69 SMK and 4 Universities in DI Yogyakarta.
