BMW And Pirelli Present Tires On The Flat Cross For Series-7

JAKARTA - BMW together with Pirelli present P Zero Winter 2 tires for the 20-inch Series-7 and i7 models. These tires have optimal ability to walk on snowy tracks by offering a different driving experience.

Senior Vice President Development Driving Measure BMW Group Dr. Mihiar Ayoubi, said the tires represent an important milestone in tire technology regarding the ability to reach winter tires by offering top-level performance.

"We are proud to partner with Pirelli to offer our customers an extraordinary driving experience that combines high-level performance in snow and wet conditions with significant positive impacts on our electric vehicles during winter," said Ayoubi, quoted from the manufacturer's website, Thursday, June 6.

Just like the other tires developed by BMW, Pirelli P Zero Winter 2 has the highest standards and quality so it gets a special Star-Mark of this brand as a sign of approval.

This ensures that the tires on the BMW model meet the strict requirements set by the manufacturer, thereby ensuring optimal performance and security. This is also in line with Pirelli's 'Perfect Fit' strategy which aims to develop special tires for use on cars.

Compared to other tire compons, this special tire has an impact on the reach of the car due to higher cylindrical barriers because the tread pattern is designed to provide grip on snowy and wet cold asphalt.

The development of the new tires is also in line with the sustainability goals of the two companies that want to use sustainable materials to enable reducing the footprint of CO2 in their factories.

Pirelli P Zero Winter 2 will kick off in Series-7 and i7 in August and is expected to be applied to another BMW model, starting with the latest X3 in the second half of this year.
