As part of this partnership, the Ubtech industrial-class humanoid robot, Walker S, will be placed at Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor. Walker S will perform various tasks in the process of making cars, such as seat belt checks, door key testing, body quality checks, filling oil, and labeling implementation.
"Walk S is designed for inspection, assembly and logistics tasks. We aim to improve manufacturing capabilities and promote humanoid robots in the automotive industry," said General Manager Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Lin Changbo.
The Walker S humanoid robot has a height of 1.7 meters which certainly resembles the proportion of humans. This one robot is equipped with an algorithm that allows communication with the factory system and various data in real time.
