DCVI Introduces New Mercedes-Benz Buses Euro 4 And Euro 5 At GIICOMVEC 2024

JAKARTA - Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) officially introduced the new line of Mercedes-Benz Bus Euro 4 and Euro 5 products at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center.

The introduction of this product is DCVI's strong commitment to supporting government policies to reduce exhaust emissions. The presence of the Mercedes-Benz Euro 4 and Euro 5 buses completes the list of low emission Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.

Naeem Hassim, President Director of Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia, emphasized that the presence of Mercedes-Benz Bus units Euro 4 and Euro 5 answered requests from various loyal customers to provide Bus services that are more environmentally friendly to the Indonesian people.

"As well as accelerating infrastructure development in Indonesia, we are proud to present our latest model, the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz Bus Euro 4 and 5, as well as the Mercedes-Benz Actros truck equipped with an air suspension system and Axor with a Cabin Medium for long-distance driving convenience," said Naeem Hassim during a press conference, Thursday, March 7.

He further said that supporting the product localization program, the Mercedes-Benz OH 1626 L Euro 4 has been assembled and built in Indonesia for Indonesia.

"This is one of our best achievements is the achievement of sales of Mercedes-Benz OF 917 with the front engine which this month will celebrate the achievement of the launch of 1000 units in the Indonesian market," he added.
