Toyota must hold a recall program in the United States (US) involving as many as 280,663 pickup trucks and SUVs.
Local safety regulators have prompted companies to release software updates to address unexpected concerns when vehicles are neutral and braking is not implemented.
Reporting from carscoops, Wednesday, February 28, the recall includes the models of Tundra, Tundra hybrid, and Lexus LX600 produced between 2022 and 2024 and the Sequoia SUV assembled last year.
It was reported that a number of vehicles with problems shared the same type of transmission. The problem arises when the car is neutral and the brakes are not stepped on when the car is on a flat surface, but the vehicle can suddenly travel at a speed of 6 km/hour.
To overcome this problem, the dealer will issue software updates to affected vehicles for the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) component in the form of free transmission control, according to a statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

However, the cooking of this sedan is different, the problem arises because the rear camera doesn't work so it doesn't display pictures.
According to reports, the error was caused by a shortage of ECU programming in the parking aid system equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor.
This recall program involves 18,616 units and affected vehicle users are advised to make repairs to hardware and software updates through local dealers.
