Fiat Will Present Cheap Electric Cars Starting From IDR 330 Million

JAKARTA - Fiat will present a cheap electric car called the next electric version of Panda, which will be present in two choices of hybrid and full electricity.

Quoted from the ArenaEV page, Tuesday, December 5, Pandina will be produced on three continents, but will be sold worldwide with a special adjustment option depending on the market. Obviously, the most interesting aspect of this car is the price. Where, the BEV version will be priced at around 20,000 euros or around Rp330 million, while the hybrid version will be priced at 15,000 euros or around Rp251 million.

Later the Stellantis plant in Serbia will be the first plant to start production, and as time goes on, the East Java plant in Brazil and Morocco will also join the production process.

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said the company aims to provide small, affordable and efficient electric vehicles for everyone. Pandina will be sold across all continents with a wide selection of personalization for certain markets.

"We want to provide affordable and efficient electric vehicles for everyone," said Tavares.

As of last year, the Stellantis plant in Kragujevac, Serbia has produced Fiat 500L, and workers have completed training to produce electric vehicles.

On the same occasion, Tavares stressed that the factory will be the first, with the production of an electric vehicle series.

There is still not much information obtained about the specifications of this car, but it is reported that the car is dedicated to urban areas, with a range of about 200 km in one full charge.
