BMW Holds Exhibition In Jakarta, Brings All Electric Vehicle Models And Can Test Drive!

JAKARTA - For the first time, BMW Group Indonesia has held a BMW Group Electric Exhibition at Plaza Senayan until November 5, 2023, bringing all electric cars.

Covering BMW and MINI brands such as BMW iX, BMW i4, BMW i7, BMW XM, and MINI Electric in strategic areas, ranging from playing atrium to wing atrium Plaza Senayan area.

At this exhibition, visitors can try directly the entire series of vehicles and enjoy special programs that can only be obtained during the BMW Group Electric Exhibition.

At the same event, the BMW i Hub was also introduced for the sake of educating visitors to Plaza Senayan about the convenience and advantages of using electric vehicles from BMW.

"This activity is very special, because this is the first time the BMW Group has conducted an exhibition together for the BMW sub brand i of a full electric vehicle BMW and MINI Electric so that it has the name BMW Group Electric Exhibition," said Jodie O'Tania, Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia, in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, November 1.

He further said that this activity has the JOY IS ELECTRIC Theme. This is in accordance with the series of full electric vehicles that are the focus of this exhibition.

"All vehicles present offer the sensation of driving without 100% Electric, and more than just speed and power. But also futuristic designs, advanced technology, and sustainability," he added.

As is known in the premium electric vehicle market in Indonesia, BMW controls the market with 56.4 percent market share compared to brands in its class (Gikindo YTD September 2023 data).

This shows how focused BMW is on electric vehicles. In more detail, BMW iX is the best-selling premium electric vehicle in Indonesia, namely with sales of 47 percent of the total sales of premium electric vehicles from January to September.

"This achievement is extraordinary, considering that BMW iX has just started shipping to customers starting March this year. Through the series of vehicles displayed, I am sure BMW can continue to maintain his position as the leader of the premium vehicle segment in Indonesia," he explained.
