Regarding The Possibility Of The Presenting Of Brand N In Indonesia, This Is Hyundai's Response

JAKARTA - Several automotive manufacturers have high-performance disciplines in order to develop cars produced by the parent company. The presence of a high-performance division is so that customers get a driving experience that is different from the standard model variant.

Car manufacturers with high performance divisions such as Toyota with Gazoo Racing (GR), Mercedes-Benz with AMG, BMW with M Performance, and Hyundai with N Brand.

Of the many high performance divisions mentioned, only N did not have the opportunity to sell his car in Indonesia. However, the opportunity for some N products in the country to be sold is quite open.

Head of the Marketing Department of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), Astrid Ariani Wijana, said that her party realized that the N brand had been quite well known in Indonesia, although there was no opportunity to sell products from N in the country.

"For now, Indonesia, there is no N Brand. We are aware that N Brand's awareness in Indonesia is quite well known. Hopefully in the future, it can be presented in Indonesia," Astrid said during an event with the media at SCBD, Jakarta, Monday, July 17.

Astrid mengatakan, bahwa untuk saat ini PT HMID berfokus pada masukan dari konsumen dengan menyediakan kendaraan yang mampuh dengan harga yang bisa bersaing di kelasnya.

"So far, we only provide cars at competitive prices in their segments based on feedback from consumers," Astrid said.

Recently, Hyundai has released Ioniq 5N as a high-performance electric car for the global market. Given that Ioniq 5 is a favorite electric car for Indonesian consumers, PT HMID has responded about the possibility of the wild variant entering Indonesia.

"Not yet, the proposal is accommodated first. Later, if there are Ioniq 5 N or other N products present in Indonesia, we will report them," said Astrid.

Introduced since 2016, Hyundai N is a high performance division of a South Korean manufacturer, Hyundai, in providing and developing several manufacturer-owned vehicles and improving their performance.

Some of the production models presented under the name N are Veloster N, i20 N, i30 N, Elantra N, Kona N, and most recently Ioniq 5 N.

In addition to the production model, Hyundai N also presents several versions of concepts such as RN22e, RM16, RN30, iMax N, and N Vision 74 which are hydrogen-powered cars.
