JAKARTA - The transition to electric cars is increasingly becoming the focus of many automotive manufacturers. One of the crucial aspects of electric vehicle production is efficient charging. Nyobolt, a battery developer manufacturer from England, has created a breakthrough with fast charging features.

According to the company's claims, they have developed a fully charged battery pack in less than six minutes. In a Lotus fire-based car, Nyobolt embeds a 35 kWh capacity battery pack that can provide up to 250 km of range in one charge.

Reporting on the Motor1 page, Tuesday, June 13, although the technical details of the battery have not been disclosed in detail, Nyobolt estimates its charging speed can double the current fastest charging speed, which is held by Lucid Air Pure with 350 kW within 15 minutes.

Not only that, Nyobolt also claims that their batteries have gone through more than 2,000 fast charging cycles without showing a significant decline in performance.

With the battery, Nyobolt said that the charging speed could be available if a 1 MW charger had been presented.

"With our unique technology, we managed to create cars with six minutes of charging, and we are continuing to develop smaller battery packages to generate more power and faster charging," said Nyobolt CEO Sai Shivareddy.
