Archery Adds Gold Medals to 2025 SEA Games

JAKARTA - The archery branch (cabor) again added gold medals at the 2025 SEA Games. The latest gold medal was won by the women's compound doubles.

Nurisa Dian Ashrifah, Ratih Zilizati Fadhly, and Yurike Nina Bonita Pereira who competed in that number managed to defeat Singapore in the final round with a very thin score of 228-227 on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Meanwhile, the bronze medal from the number was won by the host Thailand. They deserved the third podium after defeating Vietnam with a score of 223-218.

From the men's doubles compound, Indonesia failed to secure a medal. The representatives who came down for the bronze medal race had to admit Vietnam's advantage with a score of 232-227.

Panahan, who was previously in the match on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, also performed so well to bring home four gold medals out of 10 to strengthen Indonesia's position in the standings.

The first gold was won by the women's recurve doubles (Diananda Choirunisa, Ayu Mareta Dyasari, Rezza Octavia). Then the second gold was secured by the men's recurve doubles (Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla, Arif Dwi Pangestu, Ahmad Khoirul Baasith).

Currently, Indonesia has collected 76 gold medals after the men's 200 meter dragon boat and the women's duathlon team relay each won one gold.

The second position in the medal standings is still owned by Indonesia. However, Vietnam is now slowly starting to chase to take over the place of the Red-White Contingent.
