JAKARTA - Liam Delap is scheduled to return for Chelsea on Thursday, October 30, 2025, early morning WIB against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Carabao Cup.
Delap, a new player at a high price from the relegated Ipswich, has been absent since late August 2025 due to a hamstring problem.
He returned to training last week and is expected to return to the squad at Molineux.
"Liam finished the whole training session with us yesterday without any problems and he is ready for tomorrow."
"We have to be careful with Liam and (most likely he won't be playing) 90 minutes. He's been out for two months, so he needs to be improved gradually until he reaches 100 percent," said Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.

Maresca admits she should continue to protect the players if they want to keep fighting in all lines of the season.
The Blues will face Wolves in the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup with the determination to bounce back after their streak of victories stalled at Stamford Bridge due to a narrow defeat in the Premier League against Sunderland.
However, Maresca felt he had little choice but to take advantage of the existing squad.
"We need to rotate. We need to protect the players. If we use the same line-up, we will have difficulties throughout the season."
"We're probably going to make some changes against Wolves, I don't know how much, but we're going to make changes."
"I don't know if there will be nine or 10 (substitutions) like what happened from the (Nottingham) Forest to Ajax (in the Champions League), but for sure, we need to do some rotations to help protect the players."
"There are players who need to be protected for various reasons. So, tomorrow we'll see. Enzo (Fernandez), Moi (Caicedo), Joao (Pedro) - they are all players, for different reasons, we need to protect," said Maresca.
Despite being disappointed by the weekend's defeat by goals during the injury time of Sunderland substitute Chemsdine Talbi, Maresca felt his squad was in the right direction.
They impressed in the win over Liverpool and the youth team who beat Ajax 5-1 in the Champions League.
"You need consistency if you want to have a good season. After four wins in a row, unfortunately we lost points against Sunderland, but now we will focus on tomorrow's game."
"Chelsea must try to win matches and competitions, so for me personally, all competitions are important," said Maresca.
