AFC Challenge League: 10 People Play, Phnom Penh Crown Draw Dewa United 1-1

JAKARTA - Dewa United were held to a 1-1 draw by Cambodian club Phnom Penh Crown in the Group E AFC Challenge League (ACGL) match at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Sunday (26/10).

Dewa United took the lead through Egy Maulana Vikri's goal, but Phnom Penh Crown equalized thanks to Moses Dyer, according to AFC records.

Dewa United is now in second place in Group E standings with one point from one match, the same as Phnom Penh Crown in third place.

Dewa immediately threatened through Ricky Kambuaya's shot which bounced over the crossbar from Phnom Penh.

Jan Olde Riekerink's squad again threatened through Alta Ballah's kick, but hit the post.

Phnom Penh put pressure back, but Moses Dyer's efforts were fruitless.

In the second half, Phnom Penh had to play with 10 people from the 66th minute because Devit Yem received a direct red card due to a gross foul on Egy Maulana Vikri.

The advantage of this number of players was maximized by Dewa by winning 1-0 in the 70th minute after Egy Maulana Vikri's kick failed to be completely stopped by goalkeeper Phnom Penh Um Vichet.

Despite playing with 10 people, Phnom Penh managed to equalize in the 75th minute through Moses Dyer's goal after receiving a corner from Phearath Long.
