Real Madrid And Getafe Coach Disputes About Vinicius

JAKARTA - Getafe coach, Jose Bordalas, accused Vinicius Junior of mocking his decision to include substitute Allan Nyom - who got a red card just 39 seconds later - when Real Madrid won 1-0 in La Liga, Monday, October 20, 2025, early morning WIB.

Nyom was put in the 76th minute and sent off a few seconds later for his hard tackle at Vinicius. The incident saw the hosts Getafe play with 10 players at the Coliseum.

Kylian Mbappe then scored his only goal in the game in the 80th minute, with assists from Arda Guler, before Alex Sancris from Getafe was also sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a foul on Vinicius.

After Nyom's red card, Bordalas was seen chatting with Vinicius and Jude Bellingham on the sidelines.

"Vinicius approached me and said it was a good change. I told him to go back to (the field)."

"Then Bellingham told me to sit on the bench. I told him to go and don't talk much".

"That's all. However, it doesn't really matter. I don't think Vinicius should have come and provoked him with that saying," Bordalas told Movistar.

Vinicius started the match from the bench, while coach Xabi Alonso preferred Rodrygo on the left flank.

Meanwhile, Alonso further praised Guler's assist for Mbappe, who is the fifth assist of the season from him for the French striker.

Mbappe has now scored 10 goals in La Liga this season. With this goal, he also scored 50 goals for his club and country in a calendar year for the second time after scoring 52 goals for France and Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.

"Guler has that quality. When he rotates and gets the last ball, he is able to find Vinicius and Mbappe. He plays very decisively," said Alonso.
