Pagari Cucurella From Saudi Arabian Club Aims, Chelsea Offers New Contract

JAKARTA - Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella, is widely reported to have been shot by Saudi Arabian clubs. Not wanting his favorite players to be hijacked, the Blues immediately flowed with a new contract.

Previously, Cucurella's performance was deemed unstable to help Chelsea hunt for titles. However, he made an amazing transformation in the 2024/2025 season with a stunning appearance.

Due to the significant progress of the player, Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has become interested in signing Cucurella this summer.

According to the report, Chelsea has decided not to sell Cucurella this summer. This is because the Blues coach, Enzo Maresca, really likes Cucurella and thinks the defender is able to execute the tactics he wants well.

For that reason, Maresca then asked Chelsea management to refuse all incoming offers for Cucurella in this transfer market.

The Blues are rumored to be giving a new contract with a long duration for the defender, where in the new agreement there will also be a significant salary increase option.

Through this step, Chelsea hopes Cucurella will not be tempted to leave Chelsea this summer. The same report also claims Cucurella welcomes the invitation to stay at Chelsea.
