Patience And Ability To Control Lust Is The Key To Marc Marquez's Success In Winning The Mugello MotoGP 2025

JAKARTA - Ducati racer, Marc Marquez, revealed the key to success after winning the podium at the 2025 Mugello MotoGP. He said this success was because he was able to control his lust and tried to be patient at the start of the race.

This season, Marc Marquez does seem more patient and calm in going through every race he has. In fact, so far The Baby Alien is considered an aggressive racer and dares to take risks.

While appearing at the Mugello Circuit on Sunday, June 22, 2025, Marc Marquez actually admitted that he was quite motivated by the fierce rivalry with Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. However, he succeeded in instilling confidence that patience was needed because the race would last a long time.

"I breathed more than normal because I had an accident in Jerez on the third lap. So, today I repeatedly instilled in my brain that this race was very long," Marquez said as quoted by Crash, Monday, June 23, 2025.

Marc Marquez realized that the Mugello MotoGP race would last a long time. However, the action and maneuvers of Bagnaia and Alex Marquez are clearly difficult things to not respond to by Marc Marquez.

"I try to stay in the fight because my target is to lead the race. However, at the same time, I have to be able to maintain the condition of the tires."

"So, I saw Pecco (Bagnaia) really spurred the condition of the tires, then I said, okay, let's see what I can do."

"Then I saw Alex overtake, I then realized that Alex had a different speed. Then, I tried to be behind him while waiting for the middle of the race when I felt better," said Marquez.

In the end, Marc Marquez's calm paid off. He was able to overtake Alex Marquez and leave Bagnaia. Marquez no longer got tight resistance in the final half of the race and finished comfortably.
