Singapore Open 2025 Schedule: Five Indonesian Representatives Appear Today

Jonatan Christie is the sole Indonesian representative of the men's singles sector at the Singapore Open 2025 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Men's singles badminton player Jonatan Christie will start his struggle at the Singapore Open 2025 against Nhat Nguyen from Ireland on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Jonathan, who is the fifth seed in the BWF Super 750 level tournament, will play in Field 3. He competed in the eighth party or 16.00 WIB according to estimates on the BWF website.

The 2018 Asian Games gold medalist will debut as a professional player in this event after deciding to leave the PBSI National Training Center in mid-May 2025.

The Jafar/Felisha pair will play the earliest on Field 1. They played in the second match against the Chinese mixed doubles Taipei, Ming Che Lu/Hung En-Tzu.

Rehan/Gloria will also take part in the same field. The pair will fight the host's mixed doubles, Hee Yong Kai Terry/Jin Yu Jia, in the 11th party or after Rasmus Kjaer/Frederik Sogaard vs Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik.

The pair Rinov/Pitha will play in the fourth match of Field 2. They will face a test against Scottish pair, Alexander Dunn/Julie Macpherson.

Their performance will be followed by Sabar/Reza who play in the same sixth field party. The seventh seed will meet with Japan's Hiroki Midorikawa/Kyohei Yamashita.

Indonesia on the first day, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, secured a ticket to the second half through the men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

The journey of Fajar/Rian failed to be followed by Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana. This pair lost against Kittinupong Kedren/Dechapol Puavaranukroh, who will be against Fajar/Rian in the second half.
