JAKARTA - Bayern Munich were able to secure the 2024/2025 Bundesliga title on Saturday, April 26, 2025, WIB night, if they win over Mainz 05. That was also with Bayer Leverkusen's record of failing to beat Augsburg.

The potential scenario puts Harry Kane on the verge of ending the trophy drought throughout his career, after failing to lift any trophy with Tottenham Hotspur or England.

Although Bayern Munich's win seems certain and Leverkusen is confident he will play in next season's Champions League with a 12-point lead over Eintracht Frankfurt who are in third place, there is fierce competition for the final two places in the top continental club tournament.

The top four teams will automatically qualify for the Champions League.

Eintracht, who is in third place with 52 points, will host RB Leipzig who is in fourth place with 49 points on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Freiburg, which is in fifth place, is also a threat with a collection of 48 points. Mainz, who are in sixth place with 47 points, and Borussia Dortmund who are in seventh place with 45 points, also still have a slim chance, to finish in the top four.

Dortmund, who will travel to Hoffenheim on the same day, has had a disappointing domestic season, not entering the European zone.

The failure to qualify for the Champions League, the tournament where they reached last year's final, will be a major financial and sporting blow to the publicly traded Ruhr valley club.
