Forced To Separate With Kevin Diks Faster Due To Injury, Copenhagen Coach: It's Sad

JAKARTA - Copenhagen coach Jacob Neestrup expressed his sadness at having to separate early from one of his mainstay players, Kevin Diks. The player was forced to finish the season early due to an injury that happened to him.

Kevin Diks was injured while defending Copenhagen against Brondby IF in the 2024/2025 Danish League match at Parken Stadium, Copenhagen, April 13, 2025. At that time, Diks was injured in the 20th minute and forced him out in the 23rd minute.

As a result of the injury Kevin Diks could not strengthen Copenhagen against FC Midtjylland in the Danish League match at the MCH Stadium, Herning, on April 17, 2025.

Not only that, Diks is also threatened with not being able to strengthen Copenhagen until the end of this season which ends in May 2025.

"Besides, I can't say whether he can appear in a game or two."

"If we are skilled enough so we can play in the Denmark League Cup Final. However, at this time, things don't look too bright for him (Kevin Diks) or Birger (Mehling)," said Neestrup.

Even though Kevin Diks' absence was unfortunate, Neestrup said his team still had to be ready to finish the league this season under any circumstances.
