JAKARTA The Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service carried out two innovations in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge event which they initiated to ensure that the competitive forum for young women's soccer continued to run well.
The two innovations are adjusting the academic calendar and holding the SenengSoccer Festival simultaneously with the MilkLife Soccer Challenge-Kudes 2025 which will take place on February 3-9, 2025 at the Supersoccer Arena, Rendeng, Kudus, Central Java.
Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Service, Yoppy Rosimin, said that these two innovations were to fulfill the commitments they promised in 2023 so that the MilkLife Soccer Challenge would continue to be held in stages and sustainably.
"This year the MilkLife Soccer Challenge will start from June 2025 to July 2026. In the adjustment process, a transition period will be held," said Yoppy in an official statement received by the media.

This academic calendar adjustment was held after reflecting on the previous year's implementation. This is done so that the tournament can run in line and does not interfere with the academic learning process of students in schools.
The second innovation was held to ensure that the women's soccer player regeneration process continued to emerge from the early age group. This SenengSoccer is specifically for students aged 6-8 years (KU-8).
"Through the SenengSoccer Festival, we hope that girls aged eight years and under can feel the fun of playing football first."
"There is no need for a match, the important thing is that they know playing football is fun," said Yoppy.
The SenengSoccer Festival is the initial stage of football recognition, in the form of physical training and basic techniques that are packaged in a fun way.
This aims to foster a sense of joy and feelings for liking the game of football in the minds of students.
In SenengSoccer, participants individually will be invited to play football by going through various obstacles, starting from running training, dexterity, jumping, throwing, and dribble.
So, this will be a stimulus to the target age group to get to know football.
Head of Coach MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Timo Scheunemann, said that participants would later be judged based on the fastest time in completing all the games.
"The challenges made are actually coordination exercises of integrated engineering, speed, and endurance."
"These are good habits in training women's soccer from the most basic level," said Timo.
