Fadia Welcomes Re Duet With Apriyani

JAKARTA Badminton player Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti was shocked to welcome the planned duet with Apriyani Rahayu in the women's doubles sector.

The pair will most likely play together again at the Orleans Masters and All England 2025. The two events will take place in early and mid-March.

"If we return to play with Apri, because the women's doubles are always together, so we want to be paired with anyone, we are just getting ready," said Fadia in Jakarta.

Since being paired, Apri/Fadia have won a number of prestigious titles. They were recorded as winning the 2022 edition of the Malaysia Open and won the SEA Games gold medal in the same year.

Apri/Fadia last played together at the 2024 Paris Olympics. At that time their journey ran aground in the group stage after not being able to secure a single win.

Fadia's desire to return to the duet with Apri is huge. As a couple who already know each other, their duet certainly only needs minor adaptation.

"If it's chemistry, maybe we've been partners for a long time, so it's integrated too. Maybe the motivation and goals just need to be put together again," said the badminton player who was born in Bogor Regency.

Fadia is currently playing concurrently in the women's doubles with Lanny Tria Mayasari and in the mixed doubles with Dejan Ferdinansyah. Both duo managed to reach the final at the Thailand Masters last week.

Fadia and Lanny were able to climb the championship podium to end the drought of Indonesia's title in the previous three tournaments, while together with Dejan he had to settle for being runner up.
