Open Session, Plenary DPR Appoints 5 PAW Members

JAKARTA - The House of Representatives will again hold a Plenary Meeting for the opening of the Second Session of the 2021-2022 Session Year on Monday, November 1, at 10.00 WIB. This Plenary Meeting was held after undergoing a 3 week recess.

The agenda for the meeting which was held physically and virtually included the delivery of a speech from the Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani at the Opening of the Second Session of the 2021-2022 Session Year.

In addition to the opening of the session period, the Plenary Meeting is also scheduled to inaugurate five members of the Indonesian House of Representatives for interim replacement (PAW).

The 5 members of the DPR RI PAW who will be inaugurated today are:

1. Diah Nurwitasari replaces (late) Adang Sudrajat from the PKS faction from the West Java II electoral district.

2. Paulus Ubrungge replaced (late) John Siffy Mirin from the PAN faction from the Papuan electoral district.

3. Aida Muslimah replaces Syafruddin H Maming from the PDIP faction from the South Kalimantan II electoral district.

4. Harris Turino replaces Muhammad Prakosa from the PDIP faction from the IX Central Java electoral district.

5. Novri Ompungsungu replaces Sulaiman Umar from the PDIP Faction from the South Kalimantan II electoral district.
