KPK Checks 19 Aceh Officials

BANDA ACEH - A total of 19 officials in Aceh, both executive and legislative, were examined by KPK investigators within 3 days.

"We have brought all the requested documents (KPK) with us, but we don't have the appendix documents," said Deputy Chairman III of the Aceh DPR, Safaruddin, in Banda Aceh, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 27.

The process of examining the Acehnese officials was carried out at the Aceh Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), in Banda Aceh, since Monday, October 25.

Previously, KPK spokesman Ali Fikri conveyed that a number of parties had been summoned for questioning and clarification of the ongoing investigation.

"The information we received is related to requests for information and clarifications in the investigation activities by the KPK," said Ali Fikri.

Because it is still in the investigation process, the KPK has not been able to explain in more detail about the case being handled in Tanah Rencong.

There are also officials who have been examined by the KPK, including the Head of the Aceh Transportation Agency, Junaidi, KPA (Authority for Budget Users) for the Procurement of the Great Aceh Vessel 2019-2020 Muhammad Al Qadri.

Then, the Head of the Aceh ULP, namely the Head of the Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) of the 2019 Aceh Secretariat, Irawan Pandu Negara, the Acting Head of the 2019-2020 Aceh Secretariat of Goods and Services Procurement, Sayid Azhari, the Head of the Construction and Consultation Subdivision for the 2019 Aceh Secretariat's PBJ Bureau, Ivan Mirza.

Furthermore, the Head of the 2019-2021 Aceh Secretariat's PBJ Bureau Selection Head, Khairul, the 2019 Aceh Secretariat's 2019-2021 Head of the PBJ Bureau Selection, Azhariyanto, and the Bustaman Regional Infrastructure Development Planning Head.

Then, on Tuesday, October 26, the KPK conducted an examination of a number of leaders and members of the Aceh DPR, both active and former representatives of the people, namely Deputy Chair I Dalimi (Democrats), Deputy Chair II Hendra Budian (Golkar).

There are also former leaders of the 2014-2019 DPRA, namely Deputy Chair III Sulaiman Abda (Golkar) and Deputy Chair II Teuku Irwan Djohan (NasDem).

In addition, the Chairperson of the DPRA PPP Faction Ihsanuddin also fulfilled the summons for an examination by the KPK, former member of the 2014-2019 DPRA Commission IV Chairperson Tgk Anwar Ramli (Aceh Party), and Council Secretary (Sekwan) Suhaimi, and Infrastructure Bappeda Aceh Eka Fristina Putri.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, October 27, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted an examination of Deputy Chairman III of the Aceh House of Representatives (DPR) Safaruddin (Gerindra Faction), and Acehnese DPR member Zulfadli (Aceh Party Faction).

This inspection is related to the procurement of goods and services for the Aceh Government for the 2019-2021 fiscal year, including the procurement of the Great Aceh Ship and the construction of roads with a multi-year scheme.

In addition, today the KPK is suspected of also investigating the licensing of PLTU 3-4 in Nagan Raya, and three related parties are undergoing investigations, ranging from Acehnese officials to local districts.

Those examined were the Head of the Aceh DPMPTSP Service Marthunis, then the former Head of the Nagan Raya Environmental Service Zulkifli, and the former Head of the Nagan Raya DPMPTSP Hizbulwatan.
