Exhibitionist Perpetrators Near Sudirman Station Still In The Same Location, Arrested By Police And Satpol PP

JAKARTA - The exhibitionist around Sudirman Station, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang District is called a person with social welfare problems (PMKS).

Based on the report, the Central Jakarta Satpol PP together with the Tanah Abang Metro Police and FKDM conducted a search at the location.

As a result, the exhibitionist whose action was caught on CCTV was recently arrested in the vicinity of the Sudirman Station incident.

"That's viral harassment on TikTok. This afternoon I ordered PMKS' men to raid. 6 people were arrested around the location. After that, there was information from FKDM that the abuser appeared there. FKDM," said Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP Bernard Tambunan to VOI, Saturday, October 23, evening.

Bernard said the perpetrator was only arrested late afternoon at the same location in the video that went viral.

"He was arrested again standing there. Then he was taken to the Tanah Abang Metro Police for further processing," explained Bernard.

As of Saturday, October 23, evening, the perpetrator, whose identity has not been identified, is still undergoing investigation by the Tanah Abang Metro Police investigation team.

The Head of the Tanah Abang Sector Police, AKBP Singgih Hermawan, confirmed that there was an arrest of the perpetrator of the harassment that went viral on social media.

"He has been arrested, he is being questioned at the Tanah Abang Metro Police," said Singgih Hermawan when confirmed by VOI, Saturday, October 23.

The exhibitionist was arrested based on the characteristics in the CCTV footage that went viral on social media.

"Arrested around the scene. He (the perpetrator) did not know that it was viral," he said.

Previously, it was reported that uploads of videos of sexual harassment around Sudirman Station, Menteng, went viral on TikTok. In the post, it is explained that the exhibitionist action took place on October 15 at around 19.00 WIB.

In the uploaded video, a man shows his genitals to female pedestrians on Jalan Sudirman, Menteng, Central Jakarta. As soon as the victim passed, he immediately ran towards the station.

"He took off his pants and grabbed his genitals. I cried, I ran, I screamed," said the victim.
