JAKARTA - Head of Central Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-department, Mila Ananda, stated that there were 15 locations of green open space (RTH) that were opened based on the Decree (SK) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Parks and Urban Forest Service.

The opening of green open spaces and city parks in Central Jakarta begins on Saturday, October 23, this morning. The opening of green open spaces and city parks is in line with the adjustment of the rules in PPKM Level 2 in DKI Jakarta.

"The Head of Service Decree has been issued. So starting Saturday, October 23, green open spaces have been opened. In Central Jakarta, there are 15 locations," said Mila when contacted by reporters, Saturday, October 23.

The 15 green open spaces that will open tomorrow are Banteng Square, Menteng Park, Situlembang Park, Surapati Park, Sumenep Promenade Park, Tanamur Setara Park, FO Slipi Skatepark, Scout Park, Serong Bridge Park.

Then, Menteng Cilacap Park, Lawang Park, Dr. Park. Wahidin Sawah Besar, Diponegoro Senen Park, Glass Plate Garden and Ternate Park.

Of the 103 green open spaces managed by the Central Jakarta City Government, only 15 of them are open to public access.

"We think that in these locations the control is easier. We have also coordinated with the surrounding environment, such as the kelurahan so that they can help with monitoring," he said.

The location for the opening of the green open space is also confirmed to be in the green zone, considering that the City of Central Jakarta now has no red or yellow zones.

In SK Number 263 of 2021 concerning the Utilization of Green Open Space at PPKM Level 2, it is stated that the capacity of the park that is opened is a maximum of 25 percent of normal daily visitors.

Children under 12 years old and under are allowed to enter the park under strict parental supervision. RTH is open from 07.00 to 17.00 WIB.
