JAKARTA - Dry land and shrubs in the Mount Batur Bukit Payung Nature Tourism Park (TWAGBBP) caught fire today at around 13.00 WIB. This location is included in the administrative area of Batur Tengah Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali Province.

"Based on a visual report received by the Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the land and dry bush fires were monitored from the Kedisan Command Post in Bangli Regency," said Plt. Head of BNPB Disaster Data and Communication Center, Abdul Muhari in his statement, Friday, October 22.

Abdul Muhari said, since the fire information was received, the Bangli Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) had coordinated with the Bangli Regency Fire Department and together went to the location points to carry out extinguishing efforts.

However, there are obstacles faced by the Bangli Regency BPBD team and firefighters, namely having to pass through difficult access.

"The difficulty of road access to the disaster site is an obstacle in the handling process by the joint team," he said.

Until this news was written, the area that was burned was still in the process of collecting data and the cause of the fire was still under investigation.

"The current condition of the fire is still burning and there have been no reports of casualties," he said.
