JAKARTA - The Banyumas Regency Government, Central Java, has allowed tourist attractions to be reopened in line with the implementation of level 2 community activity restrictions (PPKM) in the area.

"Until now, of the 109 tourist objects in Banyumas, including tourist villages, almost all have been reopened, perhaps 90 percent have opened," said Secretary of the Banyumas Regency Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism (Dinporabud) Wakhyono Ghozali in Purwokerto, Banyumas, Friday, October 22.

Nevertheless, he said in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 53 of 2021, tourist objects can be opened with a maximum capacity limit of 25 percent and must use the Care Protect application.

According to him, his party has informed all owners and managers of tourist objects related to the contents of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 53 of 2021.

Therefore, he said, the owners and managers of tourist objects are currently taking care of the registration process for the PeduliLindungi application to the Ministry of Health.

"Even ahead of time, we have ordered all tourist attractions to immediately apply for a CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environment Sustainability) certificate. We hope that you, friends, obey it because it (CHSE certificate, ed.) is mandatory, " he said.

Regarding the CHSE certificate, he said the manager of the tourist attraction in principle had implemented the health protocol strictly and correctly, including the provision of infrastructure.

According to him, this was because his party had verified related to the implementation of health protocols and the provision of supporting infrastructure facilities at tourist attractions long before Banyumas implemented Level 2 PPKM.

"In addition, they have also registered CHSE with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and some have been verified. Actually, in terms of safety for tourists themselves, God willing, we can provide a guarantee that tourist attractions in Banyumas Regency have implemented health protocols well," he said.

On the other hand, he said, every tourist attraction is required to form a COVID-19 Cluster independently in order to control tourists visiting the destination itself.

"Especially for tourist objects belonging to the Banyumas Regency Government such as the Baturraden Lokawisata, all of them have received a CHSE certificate, while the PeduliLindungi application is still in the registration process," said Wakhyono.
