OTT Netted, Regent of Kuansing Andi Putra is Recorded as Owning 8 Lands and Total Assets of IDR 3.1 Billion

JAKARTA - Regent of Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing), Riau, Andi Putra was caught in a hand arrest operation (OTT) conducted by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The Regent of Kuansing was arrested along with seven other people suspected of committing a crime of bribery related to plantation permits.

Then how much wealth does Andi Putra have?

Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) reported by Andi to the KPK, he was recorded to have an overall price of IDR 4,075,000,000. It's just that, because Andi has a debt of IDR 910,880,000, his wealth has decreased to IDR 3,14,120,000.

In a periodic report he submitted on April 23, 2020, while still serving as the Chairman of the Kuansing Regency Regional House of Representatives, Andi was recorded as having eight land and buildings spread across Kuansing with a value of IDR 3,150,000,000.

In addition, he also recorded ownership of two four-wheeled vehicles, namely a 2012 Honda branded car with a value of IDR 320 million and a 2019 Mitsubishi Pajero with a value of IDR 565 million.

Then the Regent of Kuansing was also recorded as having a Yamaha Solo 2018 motorbike worth IDR 40 million. So that the total asset value of the motorized vehicles it owns reaches IDR 925 million.

Andi is not registered as having other movable assets, securities, cash, and cash equivalents, as well as other assets.

Previously reported, the KPK arrested eight people in the OTT which was held in Kuansing Regency, Riau. One of those people was the Regent of Kuansing, Andi Putra.

"KPK has secured several parties, so far there are around 8 people. Among them are the Kuansing Regent, aides, and several private parties", KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs, Ali Fikri, told reporters, Tuesday, October 19.

After the arrests, said Ali, now the eight people are undergoing intensive examination. They were arrested in connection with alleged corruption in the bribery of plantation permits.

However, Ali has not fully detailed this case. He promised to detail everything after the examination and trial were carried out.

"We will inform you of the progress", said Ali.
