Interpol Fugitives From Porn Production To Survive In Bali

JAKARTA - An Interpol fugitive named Beam Marcus (50) produces a pornographic film aka porn to survive while in Bali. Beam is a wanted investment fraud case in his country, the United States.

"His job is to make pornographic films, to make money on the internet. That's one of the things he does to survive in Bali and he communicates a lot with local people," said Bali Police Chief Inspector General of Police. Petrus Reinhard Golose was reported by Antara, Friday, July 24.

He said, during the period January-July, Beam Marcus had been in Bali. While in Bali, he and his female friends uploaded their personal porn photos and videos on a website to get paid. The money from the porn videos is used as living expenses in Bali.

"The passports of American citizens are the same, and the fake passports have been canceled by the United States government. They have already checked for trips abroad," said the Kapolda.

Beam was arrested by the CTOC Task Force and Ditreskrimum Polda Bali on Thursday, July 23, at 18.40 WITA with his female friend with the initials WPC from the US at a villa located in the Badung Regency area.

From this incident, the evidence confiscated included a passport, five cell phones, a folding knife, 14 sex toys and 13 other electronic evidence.

"The roles of both actors (directors and pornographic film players), by means of online, there are special orders there, and they are sought. This has just been arrested, there hasn't been 24 hours so it still needs further investigation," he said.

Deputy Director of General Criminal Investigation AKBP Suratno said that the perpetrator's female friend was a witness in this case.

"Yes (making both pornographic films), but we only found one. We did not count for certain, there were (dozens)," said AKBP Suratno.

He added, the location where the pornographic film was made was in Bali. As for the benefits obtained, AKBP Suratno said that he did not ask about it, because it was not included in the material.
