Relaxing At The Warung, Suddenly Attacked And Slashed, 2 People In Palabuhanratu Sukabumi Hospitalized

SUKABUMI - A number of unknown people indiscriminately attacked residents who were relaxing at a stall on Jalan Pelita-Patuguran, Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency, West Java. Two residents were seriously injured by machetes.

Currently, the two victims named Samidi (53) and Salim (24) are still undergoing medical treatment at the Palabuhanratu Hospital. Salim, was injured in the right arm allegedly due to holding a sharp weapon, while Samidi had a number of wounds on several parts of his body.

"It happened very quickly, where at that time there were five residents who were chatting in the shop. Suddenly a number of unknown people came and without further ado attacked the residents with machetes. Two residents were injured, even one of them was seriously injured. ," said Amin, a local resident who saw the incident, quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 15.

The cause of the sudden attack that occurred on Thursday at around 16.00 WIB, in the Palabuhanratu Village/Sub-district is unknown.

What is certain is that suddenly several people came on motorbikes in a tandem and attacked and then just left.

Amin admitted that he saw three attackers, but did not know the exact number because they immediately fled towards Cipatuguran. Residents who saw the incident immediately helped the two victims and took them to the Palabuhanratu Hospital.

In a separate place, the emergency room doctor at the Palabuhanratu Hospital Raditya Nugraha said the victim named Salim had an injury to his wrist.

Meanwhile, Samidi was seriously injured. When he was admitted to the hospital his condition was unstable, but after undergoing treatment and medication his condition gradually stabilized.

As a result of the sharp weapon, the victim suffered bleeding from the face, arms and head

"After undergoing the first treatment, it is possible that the victim (Samidi) will undergo X-rays and so on, this is done because there are some quite severe injuries such as a broken nose bone. Whether the X-ray results from a specialist doctor, the victim will be referred or not, we are still waiting," he said.

The Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit personnel conducted the crime scene (TKP), and investigated the case of an attack by an unknown person that resulted in two residents being victims.

However, there has been no official statement from the police regarding the incident because it is still under investigation.
