BEKASI - Hundreds of Bekasi champions came to the Bekasi City Police, they asked the authorities to immediately take action against an individual or mass organization who abused and harassed the Betawi tribe.

Based on the video circulating on social media, the perpetrator wore a black uniform with various mass organizational attributes, intimidating the victim and even kicking him. In the middle of the conversation between the perpetrator and the victim, the perpetrator uttered a few sentences that demeaned the Betawi tribe.

Through the video, several Betawi figures in Bekasi felt angry and went to the Bekasi City Metro Police, asking the authorities to arrest the mass organizations that had harassed the Betawi people.

It is known that the video of intimidation by mass organizations was carried out at one of the construction project sites on Jalan Raya Kalimalang, South Bekasi, Bekasi City, Wednesday night, October 13.

Chairman of Jawara Jaga Kampung or Jajaka Nusantara Damin Sada said that he and Betawi mass organizations reported this case to the Bekasi City Metro Police Headquarters. In a report made together with Betawi mass organizations, his party reported the defamation of the Betawi Tribe in the video.

"We hope that the police will follow up on the report and immediately arrest the perpetrators who are considered to have disturbed the Betawi residents", said Damin, who asked local officials to immediately take action against these mass organizations, Thursday, October 14.
