Former KPK Employee Rasamala Aritonang Intends To Form A Party, Saleh Daulay Instead Offers To Join PAN

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) DPP Saleh Partaonan Daulay welcomed the discourse of former employee who was fired by the KPK, Rasamala Aritonang, to join or create a political party.

The reason, said Saleh, is that everyone has the same position in the eyes of government law to join or establish a political party.

"So the choice was, of course, to establish your own political party or join an existing political party. It depends on the basic conception you want to fight for," said Saleh, Wednesday, October 13.

According to the chairman of the PAN faction in the DPR, no one can block the wishes of a former KPK employee who wants to enter politics. Moreover, the requirements for the verification flow are clearly stated in Article 2 of Law Number 2 of 2011 concerning political parties.

"I don't think anyone can prevent any citizen who wants to join in establishing a political party or join the contest in the path of democracy," said Saleh.

However, the North Sumatran legislator continued, it must be admitted that it is not easy to establish a political party. However, according to him, this does not necessarily stop people or groups from forming political parties.

"If the people have good intentions, the intentions are already there. I think it can be done. The proof is that there are new political parties that have just emerged, so please let the people make their own choices," said Saleh.

PAN, Saleh added, is also open to anyone who wants to join as long as there is one ideology for PAN's struggle.

"Please learn the story of the struggle from PAN. So if you choose PAN, please enter, as long as the vision and mission are the same. Of course we will feel happy if there are new forces that can strengthen our base. We are very welcome and very open," concluded Saleh .

As previously reported, the former Head of the Drafting of Regulations and Legal Products at the KPK, Rasamala Aritonang, has the intention of forming a political party.

According to Rasamala, there is an opportunity to make big changes if they can form a political party. Rasamala and 56 other anti-corruption agency employees are considered ineligible (TMS) to become State Civil Apparatus (ASN). , Wednesday, October 13.
