Kemendikbudristek Distributes Internet Quota Assistance For The October Period

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) has again distributed internet data quota assistance to 26.6 million educators and students in the October period.

The assistance is intended to support the smooth implementation of limited face-to-face learning (PTM) which is still combined with distance learning (PJJ).

"Internet data quota assistance was again distributed this October to a total of 26.6 million recipients to support learning, both for those who have limited PTM, and those who are still taking PJJ," said Education and Culture Minister Nadiem Anwar Makarim as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 12.

In the period of October 2021, data quota assistance was distributed to 24.9 million cellphone numbers for students from PAUD to higher education and 1.73 million educators at PAUD to higher education.

"The data quota is distributed to mobile phone numbers that have been successfully verified and validated so that they will certainly receive assistance," said Nadiem.

Previously, Minister Nadiem explained, in September 2021, Kemendikbudristek had distributed internet quota data assistance to 24.4 million users.

"This month there is an increase in quota of 2.2 million recipients compared to last September, because there is an update of cellphone numbers that have been verified and validated," he added.

All internet data quota assistance in 2021 is a general quota that can be used to access all pages and applications except those blocked by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo), and those listed on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture's internet data quota assistance: http://kuota- learning.kemdikbud.go.id.

“Don't be easily provoked by false information circulating. Reliable information is only issued by the official Kemendikbudristek portal or social media," said Nadiem.

The Head of the Center for Data and Information Technology (Kapusdatin), M Hasan Chabibie, reminded school principals and higher education leaders to update the mobile number data of students and educators in the basic education data system (Dapodik) and the higher education database (PD Dikti). , don't forget to upload the Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM) on the portal http://vervalponsel.data.kemdikbud.go.id for PAUD, primary and secondary education, or http://kuotadikti.kemdikbud.go.id for education level tall.

"So that all students and educators get this internet quota data assistance, we hope that school principals and higher education leaders can update mobile number data for Dapodik and PDDikti, so that all residents in education units can receive this assistance," said Hasan Chabibie.

Previously, in September 2021, the Ministry of Education and Culture distributed internet quota data assistance to 24.4 million users.

"This assistance will be distributed in stages by service providers on every 11 to 15 in September, October and November 2021, with a validity period of 30 days from the time the data quota is received," said Kapusdatin.
