JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DKI DPRD from the PAN faction, Zita Anjani defended DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan regarding the discussion of the 2024 DKI Pilgub that was raised in his party's workshop some time ago.

From there, the Chairman of the DKI DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi considered Anies as if he was lying by leading the opinion of the DKI gubernatorial election to be pushed back to prevent Anies from participating in the DKI Pilkada.

During the session, we didn't mention anything about the gubernatorial election, let alone a statement from Pak Anies that linked the 2024 gubernatorial election was an attempt to block him," Zita said when confirmed, Monday, October 11.
Zita regretted the statement by Prasetyo, who is a member of the PDIP faction, accusing Anies of lying about the 2024 gubernatorial election and plans to stymie Anies in a political contest after he stepped down in 2022.
He even asked Prasetyo to prove his point. "It is better to show evidence that Governor Anies once said that the 2024 Gubernatorial Election was to stymie Governor Anies. If there are parties who interpret freely during the PAN Bimtek event, that is really wrong," said Zita.
"What we have is that our discussion is only about the development of Jakarta, and after he becomes governor, what he wants to do. The public can see it, the digital footprint is still there," he continued.
