CILEGON - Cilegon Regional Police Banten Police investigated a premeditated murder case with victim JA (45) at the BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) SAR Guard Post in Anyer-Cinangka Region, Anyer District, Serang Regency, Sunday, October 10.

"After receiving information from the public who reported it, the Cilegon Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately went down to investigate and examine witnesses who were around the crime scene", said Banten Police Public Relations Head, Akbp Shinto Silitonga, Monday, October 11.

Shinto Silitonga explained that the incident began when the victim was sleeping, the perpetrator stood near the victim, then the perpetrator immediately stabbed the victim with a knife once in the solar plexus (between the stomach and chest).

Furthermore, Shinto continued, the victim woke up and immediately stood up holding a stab wound that was bleeding, the witnesses woke up and saw the condition of the victim and saw the perpetrator still pointing a knife at the victim and the witnesses.

"The perpetrator fled with the knife used to stab the victim, then the victim was rushed to the Karang Bolong-Cinangka clinic, when he arrived at the clinic the victim was declared dead", Shinto said.

Shinto Silitonga explained that the investigative team had carried out a crime scene investigation (TKP) and from the results of the crime scene investigation found several clues to find and find the perpetrators.

"Furthermore, an autopsy was carried out on the victim on Sunday (October 10) by the Banten Police Medical and Health Forensic Team, led by Dr. Donald Sp. FM, MH.Kes, to obtain information about the cause of death and time of death as well as other important information, The results will be out in the next few days", said Shinto Silitonga.

Shinto also said that investigators focused on disclosing this murder case by prioritizing scientific crime investigation.

"The identity of the perpetrator has also been pocketed, hopefully soon an arrest can be made", said Shinto Silitonga.
