Really Lucky, Suspected Child Rapist In Bukittinggi Can Almost Be Saved From Mass Rage

BUKITTINGGI - An alleged child rapist was almost engulfed in an emotional mob. He was rescued by personnel from the Bhabinkamtibmas of the Bukittinggi Police, West Sumatra Police. He even got a few punches while preventing vigilante action.

Bhabinkamtibmas personnel from the Bukittinggi Police, Aipda Roni, said that at first he received a report that a young man with the initials F was suspected of escaping because he was suspected of raping a student with the initials AJ (15).

The chronology of the incident began with the disappearance of AJ on Thursday, October 7, and then the family suspected that F was the perpetrator who took him away.

"F is known to be a trader in Simpang Yarsi, Bukittinggi," said Roni, as quoted by Antara, Saturday, October 9.

At first, AJ's family asked F about the whereabouts of the victim, and apparently he knew where AJ was, but said he didn't do anything.

Then, after AJ was found by his family, he was reunited with F in the Pulai Anak Air area.

At that time, AJ as the victim told the chronology of the incident that he had been missing from home since Thursday.

"According to AJ, he became acquainted through social media with F and was invited to take him to his school, but instead he was taken to an inn in Bukittinggi City," said Roni.

From F's statement when confirmed by the family, it was revealed that AJ was raped several times in the inn which was forcibly locked by F.

Receiving such information from F, some family members fainted and were unconscious and others did not accept and then went on a rampage.

"Initially it was conducive, but after the confession from AJ, the whole family and several residents who had gathered became uncontrollable, then took action against F," said Roni. mass, and follow up on the case.

"I was hit a few times while trying to protect the perpetrator who was the target of mass anger because he lied and even took a disgraceful act against the victim, who is still in grade 1 high school," said Roni.

This case was then followed up by the PPA Unit of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bukittinggi Police with a report numbered LP/B/258/X/2021/SPKT/Bukittinggi Police/West Sumatra Police on October 8, 2021.
