Reconstruction Of The Murder Of Sertu Yohan Lopo Performed At Depok Police, Perpetrators Perform 19 Scenes

DEPOK – In the reconstruction of the murder of Sertu Yohan Lopo, suspect IV (initials) underwent 19 scenes. The reconstruction that was held at the Depok Polrestro is proceeding safely. During the reconstruction, suspect IV just looked down.

"The suspect seems to regret his actions," said Head of the Depok Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno, to reporters, Friday, October 8.

The reconstruction was accompanied by the Military Police (PM) to guard against unexpected things. All reconstruction operations proceeded according to what was stated by the suspect in the report of the examination (BAP). "So everything is in accordance with the facts, the prosecutor's office also said that it was enough. The suspect also seems to regret his actions," Baruno said.

Suspect IV admitted that he did not know that the victim who was stabbed was a member of the Indonesian Army. The suspect admitted that he spontaneously stabbed the victim. Meanwhile, investigators did not find any new facts in the reconstruction.

"It fits. There are no (new facts)," he said.

Police said IV was carrying a knife at the time of the incident. When a conflict occurs, the perpetrator spontaneously stabs the victim.

"He did carry a knife, but he didn't use it to do that. It was only brought in and there was a conflict, until he did that," he said.

Currently, IV is being held at the Depok Metro Police Headquarters for further legal proceedings. He is charged with Article 338 or 351 of the Criminal Code and faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
