Police Remove Position Of Kombes Rachmat Widodo Suspect In Domestic Violence Cases

JAKARTA - The National Police has imposed a sanction on Kombes Rachmat Widodo in the form of a transfer of duties. The sanction is based on the results of the Police Code of Conduct Commission (KKEP) trial.

"An administrative sanction is transferred to a different position which is demotional/release from office for 1 year after being transferred", said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, to reporters, Friday, October 8.

Kombes Rachmat Widodo previously served as the main investigator of the Investigation Supervision Bureau of the National Police-Criminal Investigation Agency. However, with the sanction, he has been transferred to an intermediate officer (Pamen) of the Headquarters Service (Yanma) since April 5, 2021.

"The person concerned is suspected of violating Article 11 letter c and Article 11 letter d of Perkap Number 14 of 2011 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics", said Argo.

In addition, Kombes Rachmat Widodo who is a suspect in the alleged case of domestic violence (KDRT) and the abuse of his daughter, Aurellia Renatha, will also be monitored for his behavior after undergoing ethical and administrative sanctions.

"The supervision period is 1 month after undergoing ethical and administrative sanctions", said Argo.
