Quick Action Bobby Nasution Orders The Health Office To Take A Baby With Biliary Atresia To Adam Malik Hospital

MEDAN - A baby from Medan named Aiyla Adisty Hidayah suffers from Biliary Atresia. Receiving the news, Medan Mayor Bobby Afif Nasution immediately moved quickly to provide assistance.

Bobby Nasution ordered the Health Service and the Medan Area Sub-district Head to bring the patient back to the hospital.

At around 20.00 WIB, Thursday, October 7, the patient and his family were transported by ambulance to Adam Malik Hospital in Medan.

"I received a report that a baby had liver problems. The problem is that the BPJS is not ready, so there are administrative problems. I have asked the Health Office to help. Thank God, it has been brought to Adam Malik earlier. Hopefully it can be treated soon and Aiyla's baby sister can recover," said Bobby Nasution.

This was confirmed by the Head of Medan Area, Hendra Asmilan. At around 20.39 WIB, baby Aiyla and her family arrived at Adam Malik Hospital.

"Yes, on the orders of our guardian, we immediately took the patient to Adam Malik. We have just arrived," said Hendra, who accompanied the family to Adam Malik Hospital.

It is reported that the condition of the youngest child of the couple Rahmat Hidayat (31) and Olivia Saridah (27), residents of Jalan Medan South Area, Gang Mulia Medan is concerning.

The poor baby's stomach continues to grow and needs immediate medical attention. The family then took Aiyla to a pediatrician on Jalan Amalun, Medan.

Knowing that her child was sick, Olivia said, the family then took care of BPJS in the hope that the baby would receive medical treatment at the hospital. Unfortunately BPJS could not be ready quickly. However, because there was assistance from the Social Service, Aiyla could be taken to the Pirngadi Hospital in Medan.

Unfortunately Pirngadi Hospital was unable to handle the patient's condition due to limited equipment. So it is recommended to be treated at the Adam Malik Hospital.

Meanwhile, BPJS is not ready yet. The funds needed for further medical action reportedly reached Rp 1 billion.
