Densus 88 Finds 35 Kg Of 'Mother Of Satan' Explosives From Terrorists Who Once Planned To Attack Jokowi

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror found 35 kilograms of TATP explosives at the foot of Mount Ciremai, West Java. The findings are based on the confession of suspected terrorist Imam Mulayna who was arrested in 2017.

"Densus 88 Anti-terror found 35 kilograms of TATP in Bantar Agung Village, Sindangwangi, Majalengka, West Java," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan in his statement, Monday, October 4.

A jar containing 10 kg of pure TATP was found, a 250 ml plastic bottle containing burr (small round iron), 4 Tupperware containing pure TATP and C1 and half a large drinking water bottle containing TATP that has changed color," said Ramadhan.

After being found, continued Ramadhan, the raw materials were immediately destroyed. From the destruction process, it is known that the raw material has a high explosive power.

Imam Mulayna is a suspected terrorist who was arrested three hours before President Joko Widodo attended the closing ceremony of the IX 2017 Nusantara Palace Festival (FKN) at Sunyaragi Cave Park, Cirebon.

The arrest of Imam was also carried out after suspicious movements near Cakrabuana Airport, Cirebon. In fact, the search results found a suitcase containing a bayonet, an airsoft gun, an invitation to jihad, and several other suspicious objects.
