JAKARTA - Researcher of the Indonesian Parliamentary Concerned Community Forum (Formappi) Lucius Karus considers the feud between the two camps of the DKI DPRD regarding the Interpellation of Formula E to be too much.

In this case, the parties proposing the interpellation are the PDIP and PSI factions. Meanwhile, the factions against the interpellation were Gerindra, PKS, Democrats, PAN, Nasdem, Golkar, and PPP-PKB.

"I think the process of proposing the use of the interpellation right at the DKI DPRD is too dramatized so that the substance that is the reason for the interpellation request is increasingly marginalized," said Lucius when contacted, Thursday, September 30.

According to Lucius, the political attitude that was spiced up with this drama was shown through a series of actions by 7 factions that rejected the proposal to use the right of interpellation.

Lucius considered that the attitude of rejecting the interpellation of the 7 factions was not carried out in accordance with the DPRD's rules and regulations. They express their stance outside official forums such as plenary meetings.

"If they refuse, they only need to attend a plenary meeting to ensure that the proposed use of the interpellation right fails. After all, in numbers they are dominant over the proposing factions," said Lucius. held a plenary meeting of Interpellation Formula E. Unfortunately, the plenary had to be postponed because it did not meet the quorum.

This is because the seven factions have firmly stated that they will not participate in the interpellation plenary meeting. In fact, they reported Prasetyo to the Honorary Board of the DKI DPRD for holding a plenary meeting.

These seven factions view the interpellation plenary meeting as illegal. Because, Prasetyo set the interpellation plenary meeting schedule in the Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body without any prior notification of the agenda.
