Viani Limardi Fired By PSI, Here's The Response Of His Faction At The DKI Jakarta DPRD

JAKARTA - Member of the DKI DPRD from the PSI faction, Viani Limardi, did not attend the Formula E interpellation plenary meeting at the DKI DPRD Building.

Viani was the only member of the DPRD who proposed the interpellation who was not present. Thus, only 32 of the 33 members of the PSI and PDIP factions who proposed interpellation were present at the plenary meeting.

Viani's absence coincided with the problem of him being fired as a PSI cadre by his DPP. In response to this, the chairman of the PSI faction of the DKI DPRD, Idris Ahmad, said that his party would provide clarification in the future.

"There will be a special session to answer that question (Viani's dismissal)," said Idris at the DKI DPRD Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 28.

Currently, said Idris, PSI is still focused on dealing with the proposed Formula E interpellation rights.

"We are from the PSI party and faction, we will continue to focus on Formula E. Later, when the time is right, we will answer it," he said.

For information, the news of Viani's dismissal from PSI was confirmed by PSI DPP spokesman Ariyo Bimo. "That's right (Viani was dismissed)," said Ariyo when confirmed.

The dismissal was stated in a decree signed by PSI General Chair Grace Natalie and PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni.

However, Viani denied the allegations of inflating the recess funds. He clarified that he had completed 16 recesses and returned the recess funds of around Rp. 70 million to the Secretariat of the DKI DPRD.

"Not only in March 2021, almost every time I have a recess, I return the rest of the unused recess budget. Please check with the DPRD and BPK. So where is the inflation?" he said.
