JAKARTA - The investigation team of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence in the form of documents and electronic goods allegedly related to the alleged sale and purchase of positions that ensnared the Regent of Probolinggo Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband, Hasan Amanuddin.

"The investigative team conducted searches in three different places, namely the residence of related parties in Kraksaan District, the Probolinggo Regency Transportation Service Office, and the Probolinggo Regency Housing and Settlement Office," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Tuesday, 28 September.

Furthermore, the evidence found will be analyzed and confiscated to complete the files belonging to the suspects in this case.

Previously, investigators also questioned five village head officials in Probolinggo Regency on the same day. Those being investigated were the acting village head of Jambangan Sri Sukarsih, the acting village head of Pakel Hendrik Wiyoko, the acting village head of Kedungsupit, the acting village head of Sebaung Sutik Mediantoro and the acting village head of Sukodadi Yono Wiyanto.

All witnesses were present at the examination and confirmed regarding the giving of money to the sub-district head which was then handed over to Hasan as the representative of Puput Tantriana Sari.

In the bribery case of buying and selling positions, the KPK has named 22 people as suspects. They consist of 4 bribe recipients and 18 bribe givers.

Bribes were given so that they could serve as village head officials in the Probolinggo Regency Government. Each person is required to pay Rp. 20 million and the village land tribute of Rp. 5 million per hectare.

The four recipients were Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari, DPR member Hasan Aminuddin, Krejengan sub-district head Doddy Kurniawan, and Paiton sub-district head Muhamad Ridwan.

While the 18 donors namely Sumanto, Ali Wafa, Mawardi, Mashudi, Maliha, Mohammad Bambang, Masruhen, Abdul Wafi, Kho'im, Akhmad Saifullah, Jaelani, Uhar, Nurul Hadi, Nuruh Huda, Hasan, Sahir, Sugito, and Syamsuddin as suspects giver. They are all state civil apparatus (ASN) in Probolinggo.
