JAKARTA - The All-Indonesian Student Executive Board Alliance (BEM SI) has decided to hold a demonstration in front of the KPK office.

This decision was the aftermath of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who did not respond to the follow-up to the dismissal of 57 KPK employees through the National Insight Test (TWK).

"We, the movement to save the KPK, have gathered today to follow up with what the President has answered so far, he has not given his side to KPK employees," said the Coordinator of Legal & Human Rights Issues at BEM SI 2021, Zakky Musthofa Zuhad, in the Instagram account @bem_si, Sunday. , September 26.

"So, like the ultimatum that we have given 3×24 hours and it turns out that there has been no answer according to our promise, we will take to the streets," he continued. In fact, the video also states that BEM SI invites all elements of society to participate in the action. The plan is for the demonstration to take place on Monday, September 27.

"And God willing, on September 27, we also invite all elements of society to join, unite, close ranks and take to the streets," he said.

With this demonstration, Zakky continued, it is hoped that it can provide awareness to KPK leaders Firli Bahuri and President Jokowi to deal with TWK problems. So, justice can be upheld.

"We provide awareness, a message of reflection for Pak Firli and Pak Jokowi. Please friends join in inviting all other people to join the movement to save the KPK," said Zakky.
