JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will integrate the travel system for four mass public transportation in DKI Jakarta with one payment instrument called Jaklingko Indonesia.
The four modes of transportation that will be integrated are the Jakarta Integrated Moda Raya (MRT), Transjakarta, the Jakarta LRT, and the Commuter Line electric train (KRL).
"We will integrate all existing modes and today, furthermore, we will use one payment method at a time," said Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi in the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation's YouTube live broadcast, Wednesday, July 15.
Later, the payment system will be an electronic fare collection (EFC) type in the form of one card and the use of a QR code scan to access the four mass public transportation.

Meanwhile, the government is forming a joint venture company called PT Jaklingko Indonesia which combines four state-owned companies, namely PT MRT Jakarta, PT Jakarta Propertindo, PT Moda Integrasi Transportasi Jabodetabek, and PT Transportasi Jakarta.
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said, Jaklingko Indonesia will later become a technology and data company. Because, there is a challenge in the form of the source of the collected data.
