Vaccination In Temanggung Is Just 28 Percent, Deputy Regent: We Keep Trying

TEMANGGUNG - The achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in Temanggung Regency, Central Java, is still low. only about 28 percent of the target of 624,346 people.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Regent of Temanggung Heri Ibnu Wibowo. He said, vaccination achievement is still very low because it depends on the droping or allocation of vaccines from the central government.

"Therefore, we are still trying our best, even we and Forkompimda, from each institution ask the government to add vaccines so that we hope this year all targets have been vaccinated," he said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 23.

He welcomed the implementation of house-to-house vaccination, which is a program of the State Intelligence Agency so that it can help accelerate vaccination.

"We have not reached door to door because the vaccines that have been obtained so far include the TNI and Polri, the vaccinations are carried out in predetermined places, both at the puskesmas, Kodim and Polres," he said. The Acting Head of the Temanggung District Health Office, Kristi Widodo, said that every time you get a vaccine drop, a vaccine service is immediately carried out at a health facility.

He said that so far, vaccinations have been carried out in 26 puskesmas, Temanggung Hospital, and at the vaccination center in Pengdopo Pengayoman.

"Whenever the vaccine comes, we will vaccinate it as soon as possible, we will not delay it any longer," he said.

According to him, the current public interest in getting vaccinated is extraordinary, there are no more problems, most of them are ready to be vaccinated so that every time the puskesmas opens registration, the registrants must exceed the quota.

"Actually, the availability of this vaccine should be a common concern, especially the allocation from the central government through the Central Java Provincial Health Office for Temanggung Regency," he said.
