JAKARTA - Investigators from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the Polda Metro Jaya have scheduled an examination of 6 witnesses to the Tangerang prison fire case.

"There are six people that we are investigating for the BAP at the Ditreskrim Polda Metro Jaya," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Thursday, September 23.

Yusri said that Kalapas was being investigated to complete the report of the examination (BAP). Likewise, the Head of the Tangerang Lapas General Subdivision who was questioned for additional BAP.

"So there are 6 witnesses who will be called," said Kombes Yusri.

The police hope that the six witnesses will fulfill the summons for investigators to re-launch the case regarding the presence or absence of a new suspect in the Tangerang prison fire case.

"Hopefully these 6 witnesses can be present so that in the future they can hold another case. Hopefully there will be new suspects so that it can be quickly resolved. The police line at the location has also been released by the police," said Yusri.
