After Ade Ohoiwutu's Run, Suspect In Corruption Case In Tual City DPRD's Procurement Of Food And Drink Arrested In Depok

JAKARTA – The escape of Ade Ohoiwutu (41) has ended. The Expenditure Treasurer at the DPRD Secretariat of Tual City, Maluku, who was involved in a corruption case in the provision of food and drink for DPRD for Fiscal Year 2010 was arrested at his residence on Jalan Tanjakan Saung Tenda No. 98 Sukamaju, Cilodong, Depok, West Java.

Ade's arrest was carried out by the intelligence team of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office and the intelligence team of the Depok District Attorney's Office (Kejari). The previous convict had his address at Jl. Citra Jati Damar, RT 002/004, Kec. South Dullah, Tual City, Maluku.

"The suspect Ade Ohoiwutu has been found guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption worth Rp. 3.1 billion related to the Procurement of Food and Drink for the DPRD for the 2010 Fiscal Year and was sentenced to six years in prison based on the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia No. 834/K/Pid.Sus/2017, dated February 20 2017," said Depok Kejari Intelligence Section Head Andi Rio R, Wednesday, September 22.

Ade Ohoiwutu in collaboration with the Secretary of the DPRD of Tual City, Dra. Hj. M. Kabalmay who has been detained in Tual City, Maluku. For three years from the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia on February 20, 2018 to September 2021, Ade Ohoiwutu fled and hid in Depok City.

According to Andi Rio, members of the Depok Kejari intelligence team only helped the Indonesian AGO intelligence team to find Ade Ohoiwutu.

Based on the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 834 K/Pid.Sus/2017 dated February 20, 2018, Ade Ohoiwutu was sentenced to six years in prison and a fine of Rp. If you are unable to pay the fine, you will be sentenced to three years in prison.
