JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that he was asked by investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the housing procurement program in Jakarta.
He conveyed this after being questioned for about 5 hours starting at 10:05 WIB as a witness for the alleged corruption case of land acquisition in Munjul, Jakarta.
Investigators, said Anies, asked 8 questions related to the program. There are also questions related to the existing regulations in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
"There are 8 questions related to the housing procurement program in Jakarta. The questions are related to the basis of the program and about the existing regulations in Jakarta," Anies told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 21.
Anies did not elaborate further on his examination. However, he said that the KPK investigators actually finished checking at around 12.30 WIB.
But because there were several things that needed to be reviewed, Anies just left the examination room at around 15.00 WIB.
